So my 1996 Nissan Sentra sucks!?

I have had my 1996 Sentra for under a year, I bought it at great mileage 70,000, car fax checked out etc... I can't seem to get my "Check Engine" light off. I even bought it to the Nissan Shop!! They did the computer reset and said it's fine,
