1996 mustang radiator fan not turning off and a/c not working?

Just bought 1996 mustang and the fan was not working it was wired to the alt. I wired it back correctly and changed the temperature sender now the fan does not shut off when car is cool, it will shut off when car is off. Any ideas what it could be. I
