Can I use a Perma-coil on a boosted Civic D-series engine?

I have a 95 Civic with a D16z6 running 10psi boost (Turbo) and a spark plug shot out of the head the other night ripping out all the threads. I was told to go get a "Perma-coil", they run $30 at my local parts store so I was thinking this will

It's worth a try since it's only 30 bucks.
