Bring food, be forgiven fines
The Lebanon Public Library will be offering the annual Food for Fines program from Nov. 26 to Jan. 3.
The program allows library patrons with overdue fines to clear their fines by donating one non-perishable item for each $1 of overdue fines.
This special offer does not cover lost or damaged library material.
All food containers must be in good condition and not beyond their expiration date.

Lebanon High School students in the community living skills class are selling cedar kindling and bags of fire-starting material for camping and hiking.
Proceeds raise money for their field trips, such as to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and Heritage Mall in Albany, where students learn where things are and how to purchase items.
